Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Eight years after Shirdi Baba left his mortal body in 1918, in a small and distant village of Puttaparthi, in the south of India, Sathya Narayana was born in the year 1926, on 23rd November, immediately highly conscious of His Divinity. Even as a 14- year- old boy He announced who He is actually and why He was born, emphasizing His mission: to awaken Divinity in man.

Satya – truth, Sai – mother, Baba – father, is the Teacher of the world, source of Love for His devotees. Teaching universal love, accepting unity of all people has found its way to millions of hearts in India as well as in the whole world, crossing all race barriers, religious limitations, cultures and traditions. Sai emphasizes the need of unselfish service in everyday life as the quickest way to develop deep empathy, inspiring the man to live the human values of truth, right conduct, peace, love and  nonviolence.  

„If you lose money and riches, you have lost nothing. If you lose health, you have lost something, if you lose character, you have for ever lost everything,“ says Sathya Sai Baba.

Sathya Sai Baba has founded lots of educational, medical and social institutions serving to help great number of people in the whole world. Through education, primary, secondary schools and universities, He continuously teaches and educates generations of young people, making them  participate in projects of unselfish love and service to society. Today many students from all parts of India and the world are given education in these institutions. Primarily they are taught knowledge based on human values and character and only after that they develop expertise in different scientific disciplines based on scientific facts. 

By His exceptional presence, by His unselfish Love, by bliss and perfect peace, He offers the path of salvation   giving up of all worldly ties, transforming the mind and enlightening the heart, discovering thus the greatest of all riches – immortality of soul – ātman.
